For this #VGMWednesday, I'll share one of my favorite pieces of haunting #VGM: the Stone Tower Temple theme from #Zelda Majora's Mask.
This is the #soundtrack that basically sold #MajorasMask to me - it's like depression distilled into a single piece of music. It sounds like the world is ending and everything is falling apart around you, but you've already seen so much that you can't bring yourself to care - all you feel inside is all-encompassing emptiness.

So I had a bad idea.
I was looking at the #MajorasMask achievement list over at Retroachievements.org, and there is an achievement for beating the game in a single 3-day cycle.
Obviously, this would be after the initial Deku only cycle.
I am mentally planning a route for this, seeing as you would need to get to Romani Ranch before 6pm on the first day to learn Epona's song. That is some tight timing, as you need Fire Arrows to get the powder keg...
The Ikana well would also be a stumbling point, but some proper planning could help there.
Would I want to do the Romani Ranch quest as well?
There is an achievement for it, so it must be doable, but do I see myself as good enough to achieve this myself? I could try routing this with the 3 hearts only challenge too! Mostly because suffering is something I seem go enjoy...

Honestly can't wait to get home tomorrow and try #majorasmask recompilation. I been waiting for a PC port ever since Ship of harkinian got released and I got to play OOT on 60FPS. 20FPS just ain't cutting it anymore.

And most recently, I have been digging into #JetForceGemini which ranks up there as one of my favourite N64 games.
Sure the controls are quite janky on modern controllers. The C-Buttons on the right analog stick is a horrid solution and leads to accidental button inputs...
But control issues aside, Jet Force Gemini really holds up in my opinion, definitely something that could have been a franchise!
Just starting off still, but I am looking to chucking in a good number of hours into this game!
Have any of you ever played Jet Force Gemini? Are there any of games you look forward to being available on the Nintendo Switch Online service?
So, I’ve been thinking about #majorasmask a fair bit
In a single 3 day cycle, it is impossible to make everyone happy, which is a shame, and why is this? Well, it all comes down to old people
What do you mean, old people?!
Firstly, we have Anju’s grandmother, someone whose Sidequest to make happy is… Not hugely important. She just wants to read stories to Link. The first story isn’t a problem, but the 2nd one is very much an issue. As it can only be done in the morning on Day 1 or Day 2 and will take you to the following morning. Skipping that much time would not allow you to save Romani’s ranch.
Then we have the bomb shop lady, she needs to get mugged by Sakon to progress the Kafei/Anju sidequest. Unless we utilise a glitch to get into Sakon’s lair on Day 3, but I feel this needs to be a “canon” cycle, no exploits. Sorry Grams, not much we can do to help you out 
Every other issue we can sort out, either directly or indirectly.
Maybe I will try a 99% happy run like this…
