防衛医科大学校の松尾洋孝講師らの研究グループは、若い男性痛風患者の9割に特定の遺伝子変異があることを突き止めた。変異があると痛風の発症リスクが約22倍高くなるという。血液検査で痛風リスクを把握し、予防につなげていくことが大事とみている。
